I need to know what my house is worth without getting anyone in,is there a website where you can put in your post code or something and it will tell you roughly the cost of houses in that road?

Try some of the local agents web sites just look for the ones that are they are selling on the street you want you will get a good idea of price off these.

I use mypropertyspy.com or upmystreet.com

These will tell you what price the houses have gone for on your street for the past six years. Myproperty spy will also show a comparison between your street prices and the local area prices so you can see how close you are to the area average.

I tried one and it was no-where near the real value,your best bet would be to find one for sale and ask the price at the estate agent its up with.

That way you will get the best idea.
