What are some ways a person can integrate teaching their children or other children about society and how to care for it/about it? Not just nature, but society as a whole.

Of course, promoting and teaching social responsibility should start at home. If we create an appreciation of diversity in all aspects of life, from different cultures and religions, to varieties in foods, plants, animals, etc., I think it allows children to see the world in which we live with a greater sense of wonder as well as a more open mind. If we limit our kids to only what we know, it becomes harder for them to accept differences. If parents are unaware of different cultures, etc., take the kids to the library and on outings and learn and grow together.

by example.

I know one guy who trains teachers on how to teach social responsibility to children. I saw that guy letting his dog pee on my neighbor's car.

I also know teachers who get drunk and "messy" on school trips and all the kids know about it.

You gotta point out the good examples to kids, and praise them, and also condemn the bad ones. When watching Laurel and Hardy, tell the kids it's just a movie, and not to act like them.
