Honestly, I think I have true happiness, and I haven't sacrificed anything or anyone that I can think of anyway. Is every day of my life filled with roses? No, but being truly happy doesn't mean there is no misery in my life, it just means that I recognize when times are good and have learned to appreciate them, and focus on them and not focus so much on the misery in life.
(that's my opinion of true happiness anyway, realize what you have and love it and don't worry about what you don't have - life and happiness are what you make them.)

to trully be happy is to be happy with oneself so to sacrifice any thing should be your bad habits to clean your body of sins those are what i would sacrifice so i could be close to god cuz i want to see those pearly gates to heaven. so i can walk around heaven all day and nothing is happier then that.
