The reason is simple. Corruption of our leadership by democrats, infused with a victim mentality.

People look at themselves and see their failures and inadequacies. It is called self-examination. Conservatives and Liberals have different answers to these problems of inadequacies.

If you are a failure, or lack what you want in your life, then liberals explain that it its due to people manipulating and exploiting you, or if you are a minority it is due to racism. Liberalism answers for personal failures are to blame society for not providing for you, or for people and society actively persecuting you.

Conservatives recognize that no one is perfect, but your failures are your fault. If you are poor, you need to work smarter and harder. If people hate you, then do not get offended, get revenge through success.

American Blacks forget that it was a majority of Democrats that opposed the civil rights legislaton of the 60's, and that it was a majority of the Republicans that pushed through the legislation. So long as liberals control the education of blacks in this nation, blacks will not be taught the truth of history.

"...they still partice slavery by making Blacks believe they cant do it on thier own."

You couldn't make this statement if you had the slightest understanding of the effects that slavery has had on black culture and identity. You treat slavery like a bad day at the office.

Blacks ARE doing it on their own, but the larger society is making sure that they have as fair an opportunity to do that as white society has. What you're suggesting is that society shouldn't do that... that any doors that are closed because of color stay closed.

And you know what that makes you...right?

Amen! The Dems were the ones in the South with the firehoses trying to keep the blacks from voting. How can they forget so quickly?

Check out the LONG history of racism by the Democrats at the link below. The truth is undeniable.

There was more than one democratic party back in the time of slavery. There were northern democrats, southern democrats... kinda like all the baptist divisions.

Republicans were the party of the Great Depression.

Then came along new deal (Democrat) and Eleanor Roosevelt helped stop American Aparteid (Democrat).

And Bush senior and Reagan had some pretty racist looking campaign adverts. (Don't start me on Reagan quotes).

Why do Mormons vote republican when they were the party that ended polygamy?

Good point; been saying the same thing for years.

It is disturbing the entitlement mentality that the liberal democrats have instilled in the black community to get their votes. I think that many are beginning to realize this, though...

How things have changed, eh? From Lincoln to Jesse Helms. The GOP abandoned black people long ago.

Remember Katrina? The Republicans still haven't helped straighten out that mess. Blacks were actually swinging towards the Republicans until they saw the total disregard that the administration and congress paid to their plight.
