I have comcast Digital cable with the DVR & it will frezee up like every other time. is it just my cable or does this happen to you guys as well ?

I would have the cable folks on this fast. Sounds like your signal is sub par. that is due to worn cables or poor signal in your area. I have DVR with HD and it would pixelate all the time, (little digital squares all over the screen.
They cam out and found where a tree branch had rubbed through the cable in the trees. They replaced it Free and the picture is great now.

Cable is supposed to enter your building underground...how can a tree be rubbing against an underground cable?

I used to work with Time Warner Cable every day and people were having to reboot their boxes 2-3 times a week because of freeze-ups. I think the problem is more likely with your set top box- see if they'll replace it.

Happens to everyone fire Comcast and get Dishnetwork or Directv the quality is much better and does not freeze up and go out all the time
