This is when I was 9 and now that I'm an adult I sometimes think "there is no God" but then I think back on this and it reminds me that I should give it more thought.

It's a huge long story but the short of it is that my parents got divorced and my father was the breadwinner and an evil, cold, horrible person. But my mom had no money and ended up living in the basement of my grandmothers house. Of course she could not support the kids so we went to live with my father. It was just terrible. I went through two years of not being cared about, loved, or having a kind or genlte word spoken to me (my sister and brother too--they were older and actually had it worse).

Well, to make a long story short, one night I just broke donw and sobbed all night-- I so desired to be with my mother and in a loving household. I cryed so hard and prayed so hard. I really just opened my heart in prayer. It seemed an impossible prayer because my mother did not have the means to care for us kids. Well, THAT WEEK I won't get into it but he crossed a line with one of the kids (not me) and that person told someone in the family who then called the pollice.

When my mother found out about it, she came and got us that week. She said she didn't care if we didn't have any money, we'd make do. And we did. We were dirt poor but happier than we'd been in three years.

She eventually worked her way up in the job she had and is now retired comfortably. I ended up working at Hardee's and somehow paying for college from working fast food. I'm now a CPA and V.P. of a company makeing a very good living.

I will never forget that, as long as I live.

I'm not deeply religious, but once when I was in a financial burden I prayed for a financial blessing. A few days later as I was getting out of my car at work, I found $75 outside my passenger door, on the concrete. I received $125 unexpectadly in the mail from an old employeer, then I found $20 at a self checkout station at a grocery store. No one was around, as it was early. This could of been a coincidence, but I found it to be a true blessing.

How severe is your prayer? Your choose is extremely elementary and extensive. you basically choose something sturdy to take place so it may additionally be once you experience a small exhilaration. that's clearly, something you would be able to make it come actual on your guy or woman. All you would be able to desire to do is arise and take action. Why do not you attempt to think of of the thank you to make your existence extra desirable on your guy or woman? And as quickly as you have executed each little thing you are able to, then pray. If god spoke back my prayers, i does not be tortured with the help of my mom and dad whilst i grew to become right into a toddler. I cried and that i'm getting hit, talk and get hit, attempt your maximum suitable to be enjoyed and nonetheless get hit etc. If god grew to become into extremely conserving and answering each prayer consisting of elementary ones like yours, no person might get killed at conflict. no person might die in a vehicle twist of destiny, get raped, get robbed, bankrupt, and so on.

Why not up the ante a little? Raise your hand if you prayed for something that, according to science, is impossible. Example: pray for a bike to materialize right in front of you, right this very second. Did it happen? Anybody? Nope? Thought so.

"I prayed for the Sun to come up in the morning, and guess what, it did! God answered my prayers, amazing!"

Yes, you do receive direct answers to prayer. The problem is people do not listen when the out come is not what they expected. Sometimes it comes in words, sometime it comes in events.
