Sometimes I sleep 4 hours and I am well rested, and if I sleep to much, I am tired the whole day. So I thing the sleeping is not the problem.
Do vitamins help? Yes, I've heard of cocaine, but I need something less expensive and much less destructive.

The body does NOT NEED 8 hrs of sleep to function properly. If you exercise regularly and eat right the body doesnt need anymore than 6 hrs of sleep a night. If you sleep 4-6 hrs and feel rested than get up and start your day. Think of all the things you could do with an extra 2-4 hrs a day, 14-28 a week, 728-1456 a year!!

You might want to get your iron checked, and yes vitamins do help. As well as the iron take Vitamin B12 . Exercise is also a big factor, try walking more or working out.

Low iron can affect your sleeping pattern. For some reason it seems to turn your sleep pattern around so that you are wakeful at night and tired during the day.

Stay away from the Red Bull ! Try the healthy alternative first.

Three things: enough sleep (for me 8 hours a night), a healthy diet with loads of fresh fruit and veggies and most important, exercise.

I find nothing more energizing than exercise, especially a yoga class, and more so when you do the breathing properly. I've found that I automatically started using the breathing techniques I learned in yoga through the rest of my day which give me energy throughout any difficult time.

You can download a free yoga class here every day (I love them, the teachers are brilliant):
