He sleeps very frequent and so deep that i always wonder if its normal. for instance during weekends he sleeps all nite and wakes up around 6 am. he brushes his teeth, eats his breakfast and just after that stretches himself into the sofa and sleeps again, he can wake up in abt two hours or more and will sleep again as soon as he sits in the sofa. what worries me is in the nite, he will just fall on the bed and in two minutes when u go to wake him up he is far asleep. For me no matter how deep i sleep, when my husband wants sex and comes touching me, evenly slightly i wake up. but if my husband had been asleep for even two one minute, no matter how long you touch him romantically he wldnt feel anything to wake up, i can keep playing with in all manner of ways for 45 minutes or more and he wldnt feel anything to wake up, i always get surprised at this, i want to know if its normal or something is wrong somewhere.

There are alot of different factore you have to consider, how is his health? Does he have a stressful type of job? What are the demands on his time? You see there are so many factors, but with that being said, some people are just instant deep sleepers, and no matter what you do, they don't wake up instantly. Does you husband snore alot as well? If so, then maybe a test done at a sleep lab might be in order to rule out a couple of possible side effects to snoring. Hope this helps, take care.

Could be many things, he should see a doctor if after what appears to be a very sound sleep, he needs a nap. He may have to go to a sleep center or neurologist to correctly diagnose the problem.
Is he overweight, have a good diet, very active during the day, memory loss, trouble with walking or balance, history of this in the family?
Good luck.

maybe he should go to a doctor. What is his job? Is it stressful? repetitive? mind draining? Sometimes i also get stressed out that i can fall asleep anywhere. Stress plays a major factor. A break from work is worthwhile, but don't take a break too often of course. A 2 day vacation perhaps? this is all just tips.
Asking someone that knows a lot about sleeping patterns can help you greatly. good luck. (!:)

I really do not know... However if you are concerned have him see a doctor and get a complete physical done and every blood test done you can think of... This could be a sign of many things like sugar diabetes... Cancer, depression alot of things... Also get his organs checked too as my cousin is dying of Pancreatic cancer and it is very hard to detect that.... Get like an MRI or something like that done of his whole body.... I wish you the best and hope you find out what is going on soon.

Sleep is good. I don't know what he does for a living, but if it's mentally or physically draining, he's recharging. If not - maybe he's depressed. I spend my days off in a series of naps - after all, it's my day OFF. There's no deep mystery behind it. Just rest.

He sounds depressed. Look up depression on the internet, and see what you find.
