The Earth would exist no matter who is at the helm. We (puny, insignificant humans) do not have the ability to destroy the Earth. Hell, we can't even map all it.
As for destroying humanity? Well, that's possible, but still unimportant in the scheme of things. The Dinosaurs ruled the Earth for millions of years and their only legacy is fossilized remains. We have only been around for around forty thousand years and we put ourselves on a ridiculously high pedestal. Such self important creatures aren't we?

The Earth will exist long after the grovelling insects known as **** Sapiens are quietly fossilizing deep within its crust. Nevertheless, your question is probably more political than existential.
Back in 1961, the enemies of the US were known. They didn't blend into the population nearly to the extent they do now. However, the declassification of Cold War documents did show that the Kremlin was backing certain 'red' elements in the US in an active effort to undermine capitalism, paving the way for American Bolshevism. This was vehemently denied at the time due to the fallout from McCarthyism.
At the time of Kennedy's rise to power, Kruschev thought that the President was a weak, inexperienced child who won his office from inherited capitalist wealth and pedigree. The Bay of Pigs incident further confirmed Kruschev's suspicion that Kennedy would not do everything necessary to stop Communist aggression.
In an attempt to exploit this apparent weakness on the part of the US President, Kruschev ordered missile bases to be built on Cuba with the willing assistance from Kremlin puppet Fidel Castro. Kennedy sensed that this was a turning point in history. This would be a defining moment in the free world.
George W. Bush was perceived as weak and inexperienced (downright stupid, according to the media, despited having a higher GPA than John Kerry while at Yale) by Osama Bin Laden. Ignoring the Kruschev's experience of 1962, he chose poorly.
GWB would still thought of as another President born of weath and pedigree, but not weakness. I suspect that the Bay of Pigs would have turned out quite differently under GWB. The Russian missile silos would have never been built on Cuba in 1961-62.
A better analogy would be that we are lucky that Kruschev was not Osama Bin Laden, or the defining moment would have been the end of **** Sapiens in 1962.

He might want to have supported the cuban rebels, compared to that pig Kennedy who promised to help them adverse to castro and then had our planes fly over cuba and the pilots watch the rebels get device gunned down. Bush is a guy of his note compared to that pig kennedy who has the lack of existence's of cuban rebels on his hands. do not you already recognize that ninety% of cubans are republicans? They hate Kennedy.

What a great question. I think....NO. Bush is a war monger with no heart. He lied to the American people when we invaded Iraq and now we are paying for it. He fed us false inteligence and we all fell for it. Can you imagine what he would do if there was a nuclear threat in Cuba???? That's increadibly close to home and he'd prob stop at nothing to "protect democracy". Thank god Kennedy was president.
