what steps do I have to go through to marry a person from a different country?

I live in the United States and my girlfriend is from Malaysia. (Here on a student visa)

Since she is already here go to the court hose & apply for a marriage certificate. While Ur there see if there is anything U need 2 do. I think there isn't & U can get married after the waiting period is over. She is then a US citizen & Ur married & she gets 1/2. Hope this helps U.
