Top of the range everything would be "the ultimate machine" but even that would be out of date in no time at all, so my advice would be to get a balance between power and value, whatever suits your needs and budget.

XBOX 360. Best graphics evar!!! Displays up to 1080 hdpi resolutions WOOT!! HDTV is a alternate displayer.

I SUpposed you got the hell of budget. So get those :
C2Q, 4GB RAM dominator, SLI 8800GTX, Striker. Then overclocked them.
Get 4 Raptor 150GB and RAID 0 them.
