Chemistry is the science who has as object the matter. Chemistry in plastics is the part of chemistry that involves the plastics and wants to develop them to cover the needs. For example PVC is the most common plastic the words are poly-vinyl-chloride witch is used for plastic bags and clothes. Another example is PET the poly-ethylene-terefthalic witch is used to make one use cup for coffee because of its thermal insulation. Chemistry is also used to develop better tires for cars.

plastic is made from biproduct of petroleum, then it is mixed with chemicals to create any type of plastic, without petroleum we would not have plastic, except for rubber that comes from trees

if you are doing a project get a soda bottle (plastic) get baking soda and water put a balloon on top and watch it blow up by itself
