- Voice recording
- OGG, FLAC playback
- Line-in recording
- Expandable memory

The iPod is also priced higher than its competitors.

An mp3 is a filetype. A mp3 player is a media device that plays these mp3 files. an iPod is a brand name of an mp3 player. So an iPod is both an iPod and a mp3 player.

An ipod is better than an mp3 because an ipod holds more space and you can wach videos on it but mp3s mostly have less space and you can't watch any video's on it

iPod is just Apple's brand of MP3 players - the same way as Macintosh is their brand of computers.

For Chrissake people....LOOK IN THE ARCHIVES!

I have answered this question at least three times already; there is a BIG difference between iPods and mp3 players. iPods use a PROPRIETARY format.

Do a search and please stop answering questions that you don't know the answers to.....
