They need a day off like everybody else. They usually have Monday. some takes Sunday also, but Saturday is one of there biggest days..

Actually most are closed two days a week, Sunday and Monday. The staff works like dogs on Friday and Saturday and the need the rest. They also like a Saturday night out and an errand day on Monday.

They need a break too!
Mostly Sundays and Mondays.
Saturdays are the busiest day.
Most people do not do much on Sunday, and on Monday its back to work again.
I like to get my hair cut, dyed whatever on Saturday Mornings when I know I dont have to do anything else that day.
Its mostly a consumer preference. If you close shop when everyone wants to come in, no one will come. And if you are open on Sundays, no one will come I bet.

Usually they are closed on Sunday & Monday's. It mostly has to do with them being open on Saturday's. That way they only have a 5 day work week.

Chain salon are normally open 7 days a week because they have the staff to work a seven day week. Smaller salons or self owned salons normally take a day off for rest and to do what needs to be done in the salon.
Doing hair is hard on your hands and knees. The stylist is standing all day and doesn't normally get a break. Most salons they are lucky to get a lunch break. So they need a day off.

Everyone deserves a day off once in a while. :-) It could also be a hold-over from the old Blue Law days, when shops were required to be closed on Sundays.

approximately 0-one million. i'm balding and that i basically buzz decrease the hair I do have. I do it myself at homestead. i will properly be very unhappy if I waited an hour and paid somebody $15 to do something i could have finished at homestead in 10 minutes for loose.

usually closed on monday for education. this is when we have the people from each company come and show us new things and the owners do their ordering.
