This model has a universal belt to drive all accessories. It could be a couple of things.
1. Check belt for wear and tauntness
2. Try to isolate the sould by having another person do the gas while you listen.
3. Bearings in the idler pully and also the alternator is a good place to listen.
note: The idler pully is spring loaded to keep the belt tight.
4. Check power steering fluid level. (this sounds like the grimlin to me.

Check the simple stuff like Power Steering and Belts first but to me It sounds like you should check the bearings. We had the same trouble on our 2004 Pontiac Aztec, and all it was was a bad bearing. It only cost about 100 dollars for 2 new bearings and this fixed our problem. Good Luck

Power steering pump, replace it.
