and in some countries, they even prohibit school girls from wearing head scarf. why?
some ppl say that a woman has the right to wear whatever she wants, has the right not to wear hijab and shouldn't be forced to wear hijab. if that so, why can't a woman wear hijab (in some countries). if she has the right not to wear hijab (as some ppl say), she must have a right to wear hijab too.
and some even encourage muslim women not to wear hijab. but if muslims encourage muslim women to wear hijab, they say muslim men are controlling muslim women.
some women say, "there are a lot more to a woman than her body". if that so, why are they still showing/exposing their body to men? in my opinion, if they want to be treated with respect by men, maybe they should start covering their body. that way, men can concentrate her by her attitude and brain, not by her body.
what do u think? serious opinions please. thank you.
(excuse me for any spelling/grammar mistake)

how do you know those women were raped BECAUSE they do not wear hijab?
if that so, how about those women who wear hijab and got raped? were they raped because they WEAR hijab? should the country where the women live make every woman wear hijab (as in opposite of banning hijab)?
women are raped everyday, with hijab or not.

I disagree really, unfortunately in Islam the rights of women are half of that to men.
The hajib is sexist in two ways, firstly it restricts women's right to show themselves as they wish. Secondly, it assumes that all men are sexual predators and that simply shaking a man's hand is somehow defiling women.
Put it this way, how many women would be able to work in a proper environment while wearing a tent? This puts her totally dependant on her husband/father.
Personally, I would not respect a person who assums they have to hide themselves to get respect from me. Human's are social creatures, and we need facial cues and expressions to communicate properly.
Saying a woman in a Hajib is respected only for her brains is like saying someone who writes all their life without speaking face to face is somehow more truthful than the person who communicates normally.

Hijabs are being banned in certain countries because of the obnoxious attitudes of some muslims, who refuse to just be muslim and be happy. Instead they are trying to ram their religious beliefs down the throats of others. In France for instance, women were being attacked and raped for not wearing a hijab in some muslims neighborhoods. France is not an islamic country, they allowed asylum seekers into their country in good faith, and were paid back with disrespect and attacks. I do not blame the countries who finally had to ban the one thing that was causing innocent women to be attacked. Perhaps if the men controlled themselves and werent busy raping every woman who wasnt wearing a hijab, then those muslim ladies would still be allowed to wear their hijabs. Thats what happens when you disrespect the freedoms of others, you get your freedoms taken. Perhaps if people like you werent busy condoning the attacks of women who are not muslim, by men who claim to be muslim, then you would not be here right now whining about not being able to wear the hijab. You need to give respect in order to get it!

First off we're not hijabers. Second there is a very strong Hadeeth that says Muslim women are to cover their beauty up which means everything except their eyes and hands. Of course most Muslim women choose not to read and follow the Hadeeths or if they do to ignore it. The hijab does not oppress women. The Abaya, hijab, and niqab actually liberate us and we aren't seen as uncooked pieces of meat. We are respected for our minds and bodies. The whole "Muslim women are oppressed by Muslim men" idea is stemmed from Western ignorance towards Muslims, Arabs, and Islam itself. That's why so many in the West especially the women say things like this.

To analyze hijab, we have to review, history of hijab, rule's of hijab, an inside view of hijab: view of a muslim man and woman about hijaab.
History:
In oldern arabia, a man was known to be rich not by how much money he had but by how many wives he had, so in the dark of the night one man would go into another man's area and steal his wife, so what the men at that time did to resolve this issue they made their women wear black hijab so that they werent seen in the dark and would remain with their lawfully wedded husband, at this time both man and woman understood that hijab was a protection and therefore with no arguments at all a woman would wear hijab.
Rules of Hijaab:
1. Hijab should cover all part of the body except the hands.
2. HIjab should be big in size not to reveal the figure of a woman.
3. HIjab should not attract the opposite sex.
4. Hijab should not look like a dress of another religion.
Views of a man and woman on hijaab:
If there are twins and one wears hijab and the other twin doesnt wear hijab, which of these twins is more likely to be teased by men on the street? The twin who has a respectable hijab on or the one who shows her body? the one who shows her figue is more likely to be approached by men on the street.
Above case shows that a man would be happy for his woman to wear hijab and any woman would like to be respected and hence she should be more than happy to wear hijab.
From the history and current views we see that both men and women are agreeing on same issues. go on observing your hijab, case closed!

Because dear, it is for the benefit of men, NOT women!
Cover yourself up, so no one else can see you, because I am scared in case you run off with someone else!
And I will have to stone you to death!
Also it is banned because they are hiding their identity!
And yet ANOTHER little prat, is taking a school to court, for the right to wear it, and have you see her????
She looks like a dalek wearing glasses, and it is estimated it will cost £100,000 in legal fees, that WE the tax payer will have to pay!
So don't come here with rights of the individual, when it is against the rights of woman kind, and the rights of the population!

It is pretty much the same with Crab People. They go and take over someones body so people don't see who they really are and so they can keep their focus on trying to take over the world. I mean really, what male crab person can concentrate on killing humans when a female crab person has her shell on to low, ya know?
