Whats the best thing to waste your skill points on a hunter? i mostly solo but also group.

if you do a lot of soloing, i've found beast mastery is a great way to level my hunters (yes i have more than 1 hunter - lol - 1 upper 60s, 1 40, multiple i've gotten into the 20s on other servers or trashcanned). i leveled my first (who's now specced BM), as marksman and i didn't have as much survivability as i did leveling my newest hunter gal.
if you plan on raiding in any of the larger dungeons when you hit 60-70, you'll likely have to go marksman - leveling up is a good opportunity to play with the other specs before you get pigeonholed into marksman.
my high level hunter gal is no longer my main raider, so i'm keeping her specced bm (51 points), because it is such a fun spec, and putting the remaining points into marksman so i can get aimed shot (love that big damage as an opener!).

Marksmenship is awsome for solo hunters. Also good for pvp. Get a good fire arm and get as much agility as you can. Beast mastery is good if you grind alot.

Markmanship. Get Aimed Shot and then concentrate on getting silencing shot. Where you put the fillers is your choice; go with what you think is best.
