hey, that pretty much describes my ex bf! I hated him, he was decorative to have around the house, and he insited I keep him (but I eventually got rid of him :)

Yes. A twenty year old framed Cleveland Browns poster that he insists on hanging at the bottom of the stairs in the living room. Some of the players pictured in it may already be dead, it's so old. Geez!

My bf used to be a bit of a "player" and did his bedroom in leopard print everything. I have gotten rid of all except this chair that looks like a leopard print stiletto shoe! It doesnt fit in with the room any more but I havent managed to get it to the good will store yet.

Lots of things. If someone gives us a gift my husband insists on keeping it no matter how awful it is. The most recent object looks like a glorified urn to put the ashes of a dead pet in. My husband admits it's hideous but says we have to keep it because his mother gave it to us. Sigh.

Gollum book-ends. They're tacky as hell, and pretty damned ugly, but he insists on keeping them on a shelf for all to see. Ugh!

My bf has this huge cabinet with all of these old-fashioned model cars that takes up one wall of our living room. I hate it, but it's sorta grown on me.
