I'm a sappy/cheesy girl and loved the ball scene. I think every girl wants to dress up like a princess and dance around with a stranger who woos her (even if he is a little strange!) And I'm not the only one! There's a whole group of people who get dressed up every year and re-enact that scene: www.labyrinthmasquerade.com

There are so many good bits, it's hard to choose!
I guess I like the bit where she falls down the hole after she goes through the door and the hands catch her and ask if she wants to go up or down. Also the bit when she eats the peach and dreams of being at that fancy dress ball with Jareth. Then she smashes the glass and ends up in what looks like her bedroom, but then that goblin comes in and she realises she is still in the Labyrinth.
HTH : )

Wow, are you talking about the movie with David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly in it?
I loved this movie, but it was so long ago since I saw it, and can't find a CD of it.
I'd have to say that it was where the Gnome King was singing and there were these long-legged orange furry puppets dancing along! Wow!

I have three favorite parts in that movie. The first is when she enters that labyrinth and she meets the worm (No, I said 'ello but that's close enough)...the second is when she marks the tiles with her lipstick and those little people keep turning them around (their squirrley gibberish cracks me up everytime)... and then the last one is when they fight in the city and all the rocks come.
