If I weren't myself I would be dead, it has taken me many years to get past what I thought other people perceived of me, and I am not the only one who has this deficiency, so once I got over that hurdle, life became so much more livable. No one else can be me and I wouldn't want to be anyone or anything else, I am me and if and when I stop being me, I will be dead.

... someone else? We all have cross-roads... those times when one decision can determine the course of the rest of your life. One was at 18. I didn't get married. One was at 21... I stopped doing drugs. So... if I weren't the unmarried 34 year old student teacher that I am right now, I'd probably be dead... and have left behind some really messed up kids. Good thing there are crossroads, eh?

I am a MENTALLY LAZY boy. This is perhaps the worst quality I possess. I lack boldness too. If I weren't me, I would be someone active and bold.

if i werent myself id be helpless. i know that sounds really full of it, but most people my age around here are terribly unintelligent and focus on the unimportant things and are afraid of so many things. im so glad to be very fearless and ambitious.
