I think the whole thing of voting on big brother is a little biased, i suspect voters who were appalled by the racism, voted in favour of Shilpa, BUT - channel 4, would have made a huge amount of money for each call and text. Except for the final voting day, where they announced that the money would go to charity, considering all the fuss and dishonour this last season of Celebrity Big Brother caused, it might have been better to offer ALL the money (for the ALL the calls and votes) to different charities. I think it was obvious that Channel 4, broke their so called rules - to coach and give advice to all concerned in this affair, to try and diminish the damage that was caused - channel 4, enjoyed a lot of free publicity during this racism row, and it looks like it is continuing, because of recent discoveries, (unshown tapings of other unpleasant racist comments) - all the 'bad' publicity, helped increase ratings for a show that was originally struggling - so perhaps we should also wonder if the whole sad and sorry affair was orchestrated from the very beginning (!??) but ultimately it has shown channel 4 to be what it really is, an unproductive, selfish, greedy, biased, hypocritical and unrepentant TV station who now needs to rethink its strategies and programming as well as replacing a majority of its staff with human beings instead of media 'whores' who will do and say anything to improve ratings.

In my opinion i would say that Big Brother did not fix it so Shilpa Shetty could win, it was the public who voted for her.And why wouldn't they i mean shilpa is an intelligent woman who has morals, dignity and respect for herself and others.Oh my gosh she was funny too when she did her task such as the one when they made big brother laugh, she was the best next was definitely Jermaine,so the public got it correct!

Yes I bet they were. PR works smartly and the fact they have the 3min break in between the eviction shot and the interview is plenty of time for them to hand them 3 bullet points in which to answer questions. Plus they probably have prompts on the cameras as well.
Totally agree that this was a big fix, there is no way anyone can tell who really won so easily done.

i think you're probably right - who actually audits the votes anyway? It all made for good TV. However, she was a worthy winner - she had more class, patience, education, culture, dignity and looks than most of the rest of them.

The young gay guy should have won. He was entertaining and funny. He also did not take any sides. I think it was fixed but if it made her happy then so be it. Goodluck to her.
