Things have changed a bit since my boyfriend moved in. I used to be in charge but now a couple of the cats think that HE's in charge because he spends more time with them during the day (he often works from home).

Now, my biggest cat thinks that he's second in command to my boyfriend and that I'm after him. Three of the cats are happy to have me in charge but the fifth is convinced that she's in charge despite the fact that she's not. Atall.

I would like to think that I am in charge of things around my house, but I think my pets give me a run for my money. They are probably laughing at me behind my back.

My pets have trained me well. A dog, 2 cats & a bird.My pets aren't spoiled at all. I'm just well trained.I would like to think I'm always in charge, but they all have a way to turn it around to their advantage. How can you say no, when they give you that pitiful look?It works like a charm to their advantage every time.

I'm in charge, but the cats do quite often get there own way - especially about when we get up in the morning and when the cat flap gets unlocked! Also, they get to eat pretty much whatever they want, either through begging or helping themselves!

Defiantly my pets, i have to try and find new and tastier foods for them every day. They would never eat the same food twice in a week so i defiantly think they are in charge.

I'd like to say its pretty even but ..my animals probably have the upper hand. My cats sleep where they want, when they want (infact, if theyre both cuddling in the chair I want to use....I'll use a different one and let them stay there) My rabbits have free range of the entire upstairs when theyre out, and my rats and my hamster are spoiled beyond belief.. So..yeah..the animals win here.

there must be something wrong if our pet is in charge. pets are like kids thy also need dissapline. let him go to sleep without food , but feed him latter. let him sit before you give him food, if he does not do so put his bowl on the table where he can see it and let him suffer for 20 min then try again . i am sure he wil be broken in no time.

ME got no choice really I have two English Bull terriers so I have no choice but to keep them both in their place! There would be nothing left of my house, jack russel or cats if I didn't!

My cat rules the roost. She decides when we get up - when we go to sleep when we eat!!! She has even made my other half sleep on the floor before now as she pushed him off the bed and he didnt want to move her.

Yes she is very spoilt!

Our cats have trained us to feed them treats three times a day and they let us know when their food bowl is empty. So probably the cats.
