I am in the same boat. Dont give up!! We will get somewhere. Just think back to past jobs you have had. You managed to get them and you will get another one.

Lots of interviews is good - you are selling yourself well on paper, and thats the hard part.

Why arnt you doing well in interviews? Without meeting you it is difficult to know.

Are you applying for jobs you can do? A CV might suggest you could do the job but you will be found out at an interview

Are you going there thinking its another interview? Go there thinking its going to be your last one ever so make the most of it

Are you making basic errors such as unpolished shoes, untidy hair, looking scruffy has a BIG negative effect. I know of a man who was offered a job based solely that his shoes were polished.

Do you panic at interviews? You could go to the job centre and ask them for help with interview skills. I know if you have been working for a while that the job centre is a depressing place, but if you talk to the staff reasonably and ask for help they are more than willing to help out

Are you aiming too high with what you want? Be realistic

I look at jobs this way - 10 applications gets one interview, 10 interviews and you get a job offer - so dont give up, and keep trying

Even if I do not seem eligible to answer your question since I have not appeared at any job interviews for a long time now. However, when i was at it, I faced similar situation as you have faced. And I guess, many job aspirants have to undergo this. Yes, I have sat on several selection committees and can easily feel the psyche of the persons who are not considered. To screen and select is an equally demanding process. And since many would appear for interviews, the disequilibrium caused by the job-seekers overtaking the job-opportunities is the real cause of a feeling big discomfort.
Having said this, I would definitely add that opportunities do come and one has to keep making efforts and look forward with optimism to an offer coming his/her way. All the best.

My advise Keep going to them I had the same problem 5 yrs ago I think most employers try to find someone gullible enough to pay minimum wage to. My advise do something you know/ or are good at but keep looking in the meantime. Also dont forget that there are still around 30% of people over 21 without jobs so battle on!!!!!

This is happening to many people.

Just 'keep on truck-in', my suggestion, refine resume, look outside the particular area you are searching in, also, outside the local area you are looking at.

The good part is 'you are getting interviews'! Can you personally
do anything else, at the time of the interview, that could change the outcome? Just review it in your head. If you can, change it,
if not, the proper job just has not come along for you yet.

IT WILL!

Good luck
