I will be going to denmark in the summer and I want it to be a cultural experience. I have been there before and I have been to many museums though I have forgotten their names and locations.
I want to go to a modern art museum in copenhagen and I also want to go to the toy museum and I also a History Museum that has alot of information on Denmark in the 1800's and early 1900's.

There are loads of museums in Denmark, museums about Legos, art, royal treasures, author Hans Christian Anderson, history, vikings, and yes, sex. The aformentioned source, AOK.dk, is very good, as is http://www.visitdenmark.com
I was just in the National Museum a couple weeks ago (Copenhagen). My favourite is the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, an art gallery with an amazing collection. The Louisiana Museum of Modern Art is just north of Copenhagen in Humlaebeck (spelling?). And Hans Christian Anderson's museum is in Odense. Lego is Billund, Denmark.

The modern design museum in Copenhagen is great.
Also HC Andersens hometown of Odense, is well worth a visit.

go to the Carlsberg Brewery tour and 'museum' its more exciting and highly educational...
the glyptotek is very nice too as is torvalsens sculpture museum and Statens Museum for Kunst (State art museum)
My favorite museum is the Danish WWII resistance museum close to the mermaid..
Fredricksbord slot (castle) has a nice museum of artifacts..
and the cooler modern art museum is actually north of the city but I dont remember the name..
