I'm not sure where I stand on the immigration stuff. I am an immigrant from the UK and we received no special treatment. We lived here 7 years, paid a crapload of money in both fees and taxes and finally got our green cards. However, your country was founded on the premise that it would be a 'Free' Country. And now that the world takes you seriously, and people want to be here, you make it a nightmare.

The reality is that although America is the "land of the free" their must be some regulations and controls regarding the influx of people. Mexicans are the most "popular" group of immigrants, based on proximity to the U.S.A., economic problems of Mexico, etc. However, it can't be allowed for Mexican's to illegally arrive and stay in the country. Laws regarding social security, taxes, etc. would be null and void if all "citizens" could not be accounted for.

I think that all Mexicans, not just poor, should be better assisted. The only problem is, when does it end? When do we say, okay that's enough. If Americans began to flood to Canada illegally, or even legally, in great droves, they would say "Wait a second, you can't all come here".

It's an epidemic now and they must find a way to better resolve the issue. Perhaps offering assistance to Mexicans who truly wish to come here to work and live, not just send money home, it would provide for less illegalls trying to cross the borders.

Maybe ,but the US don't want them.Won't they be deported? How many can the US receive? Can poor Americans get help crossing border into Canada? I'd give it a try. Unless Canadiens received me and educated me,and employ me I'd be deported too, back to the US.

Probably not, but Human Dignity will do.

Funny how you throw poor in there. Most of them may be poor but rich in heart.
