Right now they're a little painful to watch... alright very painful to watch. But I'm not giving up on the green and white just yet. It might take a couple years (depending on who they get in the draft) but the Celt's will be back.
One of two things will happen 1) They'll trade Peirce over the summer, for a highly rated young player and build around Oden and Jefferson. 2) They'll trade Jefferson and Green and take one last run with Peirce.

With Tony Allen and Theo Ratliff out of the season and Pierce out for the next few weeks (Return after All-Star break?), the Celtics are going down.
I don't think there is anyone playing on the team right now that can dominate or control the game as Pierce could do.
Still, I don't understand what happened to Szczerbiak who used to be a great player with the wolves.
I don't think Celtics' coach is using his players to their maximum potential either. Do you remember how Sebastian Telfair played last year? Yet, he's been averaging less than 10min/game recently with Boston.
And what about Olowokandi? Sure he's getting old, but that man can play. I don't get why he's only playing 5 to 10 minutes per game...
I think there is a serious injury problem in the Celtics roster right now. Add to that some good players not getting enough time and you have it. Still, the Celtics don't have the worse record in the league and they can still beat the Memphis Grizzlies... So, even if there is not chance for a playoff appearance, there is still a chance for them not to finish last...
Let's hope they'll get some new great talent from the draft for next year!

Bad streak but Paul Pierce has been hurt so that is part of the problem.
