I think you'll find Jermaine said "You can't mix class and no class" - the implication being not that he was against it, but that it didn't work on a practical level.
As was demonstrated by the whole sorry mess it turned into.

I feel a great big can of worms opening here...
I think it was actually Jermaine who said this, but it could easily be all three.
1) Adolf (or at least the Nazi portrayal of him) was very specific about what made the "perfect" person. Thus, it is quite possible that he could have said this.
2) Hyacynth was so up herself that this could very well have been her motto. Althouh it doesn't explain her family.......
3) Jermaine has said it in the BB house at some point. Made absolutely NO impact whatsoever on the media. Someone really thick gets a persons surname mixed up with a traditional food product from their home country, a 40,000 strong hate crime is brought against her. Go fig.
(BTW, Hyacynth's name is spelt B-U-C-K-E-T. Seriously. That's why she was always angry when people got it mixed up. Made pretty good tv the first few times I heard it.)

It would be a pretty poor world if we went back to that kind of thinking, what of tolerance, understanding or empathy - you would be turning the clock back to 1900 or before, and where do you draw the line, when does class suddenly become colour or culture, and how do you even judge class, by money by attending a posh school or having a posh job and car....?
Your class is your inner self, how you see the world and those in it, and how those people judge you, your class is your actions, and how you live your life.
perhaps we should just delete the word Class from the dictionary - I think the world would be a far happier place.

I'm pretty certain it was indeed Channel 5's favourite dictator, Adolf Hitler - so those of you who think it's a good idea, well......long live the fourth reich!*
*that was sarcasm, by the way.....

Oh yeah, let's all go for class segregation......
Actually, despite my sarcasm, it might not be such a bad idea. At least the the classless ones wouldn't have to put up with the snobs looking down on them.

He was trying to show the differences in upbringing. He did talk about how a lack of father figure can play a role, and how Jade's upbringing shaped her.
He was trying to explain why Jade and her crew didn't see why they were wrong or doing anything bad.

if you're going to quote people, at least get the quote right. He said 'you can't mix class with no class' and he was being observant, he was talking about the way Jade, Jo and Danielle, who cursed and flatulated and bullied their way through the programme treated Shilpa who behaved with grace, humour and dignity
