My rabbit is light brown with some black around the face. He has short ears and a very short tail with BIG brown eyes. Just wondering if anyone has an idea what kind of rabbit he might be ????

That sounds like some kind of Netherland Dwarf like a Siamese Smoke Pearl Netherland Dwarf.

The website below has a good picture of Siamese Smoke Pearl Netherland Dwarf.

There are a few things you could add to the description to help someone identify the breed.

1. The length of the ears in inches from the base of the ears to the tips.

2. The weight of the rabbit in pounds.

3. The length of the rabbit's fur.

4. The age of the rabbit.

If you really want to know, go to the ARBA's website at http://www.arba.net and order the Standard Book of Perfection they have for rabbits. There are a few breeds it could be based on your description. Here are some of the top guesses I'd have:

1. Netherland Dwarf
2. Holland Lop
3. Jersey Wooly
4. Mini Satin
5. Cinnamon
6. American Fuzzy Lop

Sounds like some type of dwarf breed. I'm not sure about the color...give us a link to a picture of him.
