Our college is coming up for exciting times and we are expanding to a 24/7 364 college. There will be different learning opportunites for the students. We are still very much at the planning stage. The working party that I am on are considering the needs of learners. Any suggestions you may have would very much be appreciated.

By College I assume that you are talking about the European term for High School? I went to a school that was both a boarding and day College and it of course had special dormitory facilities, but also a living-learning program in which resident students learned academically as well as extra-curricularly through sessions after school. Involvement in sports, art/language/you name it classes as well as student organizations was a requisite to the boarding program. Staff in the residence halls were trained to provide educational opportunities to students in all kinds of circumstances by providing programming on things like health issues, etc.
