To know him would possibly enlighten You as to why he is so hated. His company has effectively crushed many other entities and caused untold personal hardship for ten fold thousands by this sociopathic business practice of which he must take personal responsibility. His corporation is akin to a cult as well and that has not endured him with the masses either. Finally his unbridled greed will never be mitigated by acts of publicized generosity, this attempt to achieve American style Sainthood on the skulls and bones of those that have been discarded in his vampyric companies vacuum. Does this help explain a little? The coin spins so fast that sometimes it's hard to see both sides!

most people (lke Me) tend to hate him for making windows 95 i.e how i took up all you're hard drive kept on crashing etc and mae u addicted to youre computer its not real hate just a fun hate, i mean without bill gates the world would be totally different but with him we are mostly internet and tech junkies now, "We are living in the age of the geek"
im sure hes is a great a guy and i thank him for all he has done

I didn't know a lot of people didn't like Gates, but if it's true, I agree with the others it's JEALOUSY.
It may also be presentation, because most appear to like Oprah and she is very wealthy.
