You have to come to a compromise with your husband on the terms of your divorce. If you can both sort it out between the two of you it will be a lot easier to split and it will be a lot friendlier.
Maybe you could both offer to pay for half of the wedding to take the pressure of your families

In divorce no one comes out a winner except the lawyers. They really pounce on the dead carcass to devour. Don't go to a lawyer if you can help it.

Forget about alimony. You have made it this far and You can make it on your own going forward. You have a good education, you are young. Plenty of life ahead for you to look forward to. Call this a bad dream and move on. At least, there is no child involved here. (sorry for you for what happened) Otherwise you will be putting that innocent one thru all this problems that you two are having.

Turn a new leaf. You could help your parents by assuming half of the expenses and force your ex-husband to carry the other half on the condition there is no alimony. I am sure he will go for it.. Make a clean cut. If he does not accept, threaten to sue him for alimony. You should not give him too many choices. Either / or that's it.

Put everything in writing. This is the one only instance where you will hire a lawyer so that your lawyer fees are kept to as low as possible.

I am sorry to hear about your son. You have my humblest condolences.
I would advise seeing a divorce lawyer. They will advise you best on what you should claim and how. They will also know what you are entitled to in terms of alimony and expenses.
You will be just fine. Good luck.
