A lot was public sympathy vote from the UK too - I personally think Jermaine should have won as he remained dignified throughout and showed everyone how one should act.

I doubt that the show was rigged, but shilpa was always going to win, after the race row blew up, because she was guaranteed the sympathy vote.
I think she would have been in the top three anyway, because she was basically, a nice person. she didn't swear excessively, and she went and threw herself into the whole ethos of CBB.
she got on with the cooking and cleaning, while Jermaine spent a lot of time sitting on his backside. Even though she comes from as background where she doesn't normally do domestic chores.
Certainly she will get a big boost to her flagging career, but that is why everyone goes on CBB, anyway.
bubbles, you're a moron... "democracy lost", HAH, don't make me laugh. It's a bl00dy TV program. they were voting for a TV show winner, not the prime minister.
And have you ever listened to people going into vote at the general election, anyway.
"Ohh, I think I'll vote for that nice Tory chap... he's got such a lovely smile, and anyway, that Cherie Blair has got her eyes too close together, you cant trust a woman like that"

think BB has now lost what little cred it had left tbh - result was obviously rigged, just like the three or four before!!!! I have picked the "winner" from half way thru just cos I know how they will work it. They go for the contestant who is deemed to be worth the public sympathy vote then they play on this to manipulate those silly sods into phoning a premium phone number that very little of proceeds go to charity. It's about time that programs like this are taken off air and the public pocket saved from themselves.
This was fairly entertaining the first two times as was different but now is just boring boring boring. But the fact that we are lowering ourselves to disussing it makes it even worse :)

No Frazier,
The racists didn't lose. Democracy lost!!! I watched that programme and I didn't racism. i saw a load of do good white people talking cr@p. I have seen REAL racism first hand. It is disgusting and NOTHING like what went on in BB.
What happened was MOB RULE and the truth was destroyed so the racists will live to fight on and we all lose.

Who knows? But she wouldn't have won it hadn't been for the race row that blew up. The boos she got from the crowd must have been very embarassing to Endomol/C4, but it probably reflects peoples annoyance with the way this whole show has been manipulated and stage managed.

I think it was more to do with the sympathy vote, combined with the fact that Shilpa conducted herself with grace and dignity throughout.
I dont think any noticable contribution to the overall voting came from abroad
