I'm thinking a dress over jeans with long, layered necklaces. What do you think? I need some ideas.
(:

I don't think you should wear long necklaces to a dinner. You sure don't want your necklace dipping into the soup when you lean forward to listen to your dinner partner talking.

A off the shoulder top in a jewel tone, with your hair up and sparkly dangly earrings will be nice, paired with sleek black jeans/pants.

go to www.gojane.com to find out! (They have hot clothes that look nice but not too formal, and they are at an affordable price.) Oh, and your idea of the dress over the jeans with the layered necklaces sounds pretty good, but go to gojane.com to find some shoes to go with it!

A dress over jeans?? I think a simple evening dress would be nice. Or perhaps some black pants with a nice top, nothing too fancy.

Sounds good. Try wearing a nice tunic or a silky but casual cami and maybe a pretty cropped sweater on top. For your hair, maybe a nice updo will be nice.
