Why do women want equality in issues pertaining to the workforce but not in being in a military draft?

Wow, you guys are some real woman bashers!! Well, SOME women want equality not ALL, as far as being drafted, there are a lot of women who are Reservists and members of the National Guard who are volunteering to deploy. So stop speaking for ALL women, besides some of you men don't want to be drafted. Most of you don't want any parts of the military, and for that sake I hope you don't get drafted because you would just get in the way of the people who believe in what they do in Iraq.

Why would we complain about not having the "equal right" of what men consider a terrible burden? Let's be realistic! (And fair...not too many men complain about not being able to experience the pain of child birth, despite it's joys). But all things being fair, women should be drafted, as well. (If we reinstate the draft, right now, NO ONE can be drafted, anyway...so it's kind of a moot point, isn't it?)

IMO women do not nor never wanted equality.. what they really want is for males to conform to thier idea of what equality is and act according to what they want.. and i can pretty much prove it..
Fer instance.. there would be little to No SEXUAL HARASSMENT crap if it was GUY rules.. we rarely ever do that (But we are learning from the chicks You betcha) we can put up with it and even hear the dirty joke or 18 with out going ballistic.. hell we rarely say anything when ya'll cop a feel now and then..

Guys.. you scream in our face and act bad.. Guy A decks guy B and 15 mins later they have a beer.. Women on the otherhand think they have a perfect right to yell scream rant and rave.. and even hit us with no reprecussions (Not in my world though baby.. you hit me.. I'l clock you like you were a guy.... and I DO MEAN CLOCK.. hows that for equal rights?)

Women only want equality when its in thier best interest.. and it gets em what they want.. Now the equal pay for equal work bit.. I agree with that.. thats only fair and reasonable.. Draft wise.. Oh they should be drafted just as a male is.. whats the problem? I know several women that can shoot better than i can and i'm pretty damn good... and whats the old joke? Any thing that can bleed one week out of a month & still live, ya know has to be pure evil..

Most women regard society pretty fair to them generally.

Unfortunately, feminists fight militantly for female advantages, forgetting that other people without fallopian tubes have rights.

Personally, I think women should only be allowed in the army if they can perform just as well physically as men. If we ignore the fact that women are weaker physically, then we risk putting people's lives in danger for political correctness. Plus the fact that men are just better at fighting. (it's what we were built for)

Of course, women should still be able to work in communications, engineering, in the navy, flying planes, working as medics etc... Just not in front line combat.

Women don't want to be treated equally. Tell a dirty joke around the office (even if talking to someone else) or give an appropriately stern order to the wrong woman, and you spend the next few days in sensitivity training or looking for a new job.

Women want to be treated like women, but be paid like men.
