They are all right. Practise and Prepare!
For me, I took Kaplan study guide as well as collegeboard official practice book and Princeton's sat practice book.
Collegeboard official practise book was not comprehensive enough in terms of tactics, take a Princeton first and when you think you are ready go through one of the tests in collegeboard official book. And before the tests, don't forget to increase ur vocab u learn from princeton's book as well as other resources.
I only prepped for 2 weeks for SAT and with these two books, scored 2130.

The best book to study for the SAT is the Kaplan study guide, because it is slightly more difficult that the real test, so when you walk on the test, you are very comfortable and know everything that you are supposed to.They have practice tests at the end of the book.Try to work on one every day and you will see yourself improving. There is also a CD in that book where you can take the test on your computer. It automatically gives you your grade.I liked it so much when I was preparing for my Sat.One advice, don t rely on the official study guide from college board because it is too general, and it is not the best prep for a student,in my point of view..good luck!!

You can only prepare for the SAT's by using the preparatory books in the library. You cannot actually study for the SAT's beforehand, and I advise against it! You will do yourself more harm than good by trying to study for them NOW. The SAT's are actually tests that attempt to measure how you use your knowledge and skills that you are supposed to have accumulated throughout your educational career - both in school and out.

Sign up for collegeboard's free question a day program.

Do lots and lots of practice tests. I recommend collegeboard's official SAT book, as it's the closest to the actual test.

Brush up on your vocabulary. You can always download those lists you search for on the internet.
