Black and Gold Baby! The best team to not make the playoffs this year. Ranked #7 in total offense and #11 in total defense. I dont think any other team in the play-offs this year was that balanced on both sides of the ball.Turned the ball over too many times in critical situations. They really did play well other than the T/O's.They will be just fine w/o Cohwer. Mike Thomlin is a very fine and very disaplined coach. Also the are keeping Dick Laboux as defensive coordinator. I loved the Bus. But my favorite current player is Big Ben. That kid has got alot of heart. My favorite all time Steeler is the great Jack Lambert. Vampire of the midway. He once declared that all quarterbacks should wear dresses. Gotta love that. Also by the way, they still boast the best streak in superbowl hystory. 4 in a 6 year spread. To the answer before mine, hey guess what, before you put Brady on a pedistal, Big Ben won the big one his rookie year and also went undefeated in the regular season, as a rookie. That will probably never happen again.

New England Patriots are one of the most well-respect best dynasties in the NFL in the current 21st century. The Patriots have won 3 Super Bowls in 5 years, led by QB that was a 6th round draft pick. I don't think many other teams can top that off.

My favorite player on the Patriots is Tom Brady. He is an excellent QB, and the best in the NFL, arguably. Well, naturally it would have to be a tie between him and Peyton Manning, BUT the fact that Brady is 3 years younger than Peyton and 3 rings better than Peyton, the win goes to Tom Brady.

Neither. I never liked either team. I live in New England and do not like the Pats. After they lost to Indy, Bellicheck and Brady really showed class by ignoring Manning. Makes me dislike the patsys even more. I could not imagine Cower or Roethlisberger doing that, though.

William B - really? Post sources. Both patsys blew off Manning. I watched the game. Typical patsy fan. Worst fans in professional sports.

I'm not a huge fan of either -- who I'm rooting for really depends on who they're playing.

My favorite Steelers player(s) is Joey Porter and Troy Polamalu (all time being Mean Joe Greene)

My favorite Pats player is Teddy Bruschi

&hambert ---uh...do the Chargers ring a bell? ("no other playoff team was as balanced as the steelers")

1st in offense and 7th in defense (both being points scored and points allowed ---because points are what win games, not yards)

and the Pats were 7th (O) and 2nd (D) in the same catagories

Fav participant: Hanley Ramirez. Yea i learn about his frame of mind yet i do not care. he's a beast. Fav crew: Florida Marlins. First sport I ever watched become sport 7 of the 1997 WS so i did not have a call. participant I hate: Jose Reyes. Why? Hanley is the most acceptable SS and human beings want to end comparing both. crew I hate: Mets. Met followers continuously get on my nerves.

Huge Steelers fan because they are the greatest NFL franchise of all time! The Rooney's have to be the greatest owners in NFL history.

Polamalu is by far my favorite player on the current Steelers roster. Now that kid has got some major heart in him. You can see the fire and intensity in his eyes that he wants to win and will sacrifice his body on EVERY play to try and help the Steelers win. He is the antithesis of players like T.O. and Randy Moss who ruin football with their big mouths and "me first" attitude. Troy is truly a breath of fresh air in the NFL and we need more players like him.

Patriot fan

Troy Brown

When no more miracles are possible Troy steps up to do something weird. Either at WR, CB, PR, and in this pre-season, 3rd string QB. The way things went with the punter this year (who holds on extra points and FGs) the 3rd string QB might have been called upon to hold.

old school: Liar Ive seen the picture of them at mid field after the game.
