My son went to his grandma's house on sat. His counsins were over. One counsin had some type of virus that lasted 2 days. The other counsin is about 7 months and is teething. She had a slight fever and a cold. Last night my son threw up his whole bottle. Then later in the night he caught a slight fever. I gave him some baby tyenol, and the fever went down. As the night went on, i checked his temperature and it was fine. I notice this morning that he hasn't used the bathroom since yesterday afternoon. His pamper is completely dry. His papmper was last between 2-5 yesterday. Since he sleeps thru the night, I usually give him a bottle between 6-7 in the morning. When he drinks first thing in the morning, it is guaranteed that he will drink 4-6 ounces. This morning he only drunk 2. I am not sure what is going on with him. I told his father if he doesn't go to the bathroom by 12 then I will take him to the hospital. Has this every happened to anyone before. He is only 3 months.

This is for Alex- I was not asking for a diagnosis. I am not stupid to think that I would get a doctor to tell me what is wrong with my child. I was asking to see if anyone has had the same thing wrong with there child. Next time u decide to answer a question, either answer from experience or don't answer at all. And by the way, I did take him to the hospital. He has a cold.

If he's dehydrated, he will not produce urine, since he's 3 months ypu cannot give him much water and gatorade is out of the question. Babies pee like 7 times a day, so trust your intuition, he probably has a cold and because he is dehydrated, get thee to emergency, they might hook him up and it will be sad and hard to watch but it's the best thing to do. Don't wait, go now.

No honey, you do not have time to wait. ACT NOW! Get him ready and get going.
Your instincts are right on. Something is wrong and three months old is too young to be sick. Call the doctor and if that option is not available take him to the ER.
This should be treated like an emergency and if your doctor does not do that take him to the ER. GO!

Have you taken his temperature today? He probably has a fever and is dehydrated.
You are right to check his pampers for wetness.
I strongly suggest taking him to the hospital ASAP.
They will probably give you a rehydrating fluid to feed him.

I'd call the Doctor now. If he is dehydrated or getting there he may need an IV. The Dr. can tell you what to do. Don't wait.

Yes, call your doctor. He might have gotten the virus that your cousin had, but because your son is so young it may be worse with him.

call the dr now and ask them, dont ever trust teh advice of a stranger on the net when it comes to health of your child. only a dr who has a medical degree has the right to tell you what could be going on

Why are you asking for an over the net diagnosis from us? This may be serious or not, we do not know. Phone your doctor ASAP and find out for sure.

sounds like hes deydrated, give him water or pedialyte, but I would take him to the doctor, if you wait too long and he gets reall dehydrated they will have to put i.v s in him to put fluid in him.

It sound like something is really disturbing him since he is only 3 months old please do not delay and contact a doctor immediately.
