i can think of several.
first i think its sometimes a waste of time.
but the immediate access to truth and lies are good for information values.
Pornagrophy is both a blessing and an evil but mostly it is evil. people are destroyed socially.
many people live infront of their computer therefore socializing becomes a thing of the past and illness of mind can be caused by staring at a monitor for 12 hours a day.

Lazyness, people are more inclined to stay in and the internet is another item that will bring a generation of fat people.
