Okay, I just asked a question about a viable pregnancy, because my friend is pregnant, or should I say was pregnant. Now she has me worried because I had some very minor bleeding the last couple days. I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow, but I am just curious now. Thanks for your help.

When people talk about bleeding being normal. Its not really. Your right to go doctors. some wpmen have inplantation bleeding. This happens early on in your pregnancy and is spots and last no more than a day. When i bleed my doctor says a little is commen (the doctor i saw at the hospital said up to 4 spon fulls is an ok amount). 4 Doctors told me it was normal for my amount of bleeding. I did not need a pad and only bleed when i wiped. A week later i miscarried. Their really is no normal amount. Their are other things it can be that are not miscarrage. As many as 1/4 of women have some bleeding and 4/5 do not miscarry. But saying that the odds of miscarriage are high in the first trimester.

Hopefully your bleeding is another reason. Some are just one of those things. go docs as soon as you can. If they tell you its normal the keep an eye on it. A week after i started bleeding i ent hospital and was checked over and was told my bloodloss is normal and within hours i miscarried.

good Luck

Bleeding whilst pregnant is not 'normal' no matter what people tell you, yes it does happen to some people but not the majority.
I have had 5 healthy children and have not bled at all in any of the pregnancies, the only time I bled was when I went on to have a miscarriage at christmas last year.
You have done the right thing by making an appointment to see the Dr. I really hope all is well.

You should report any and all bleeding to your ob/gyn. S/he may say it's okay but usually, you need to be checked out.

No it's not okay. You need an ultra sound to make sure you don't have placenta previa or some other disorder.
