Anne Frank isn't your standerd Human Rights hero in the same way Mandela is or Ghandi was. however, what she did was highlight the plighte of millions of Jews across Nazi controlled Europe and give us a timeless story that can be used to educate generation after generation of school children so that nothing like that can happen again. (well hopefully anyway) i think the main focus on anne frank is that she was just a normal teenage girl with family, friends and a happy life until the Nazi's forced her and millions like her into hiding and eventual death. The fact that this is a true story really does bring home the story and leave you with a feeling of shock that such a tragic story can actually be true
