Anything can be taught and learned gradually by example and illustration and explaining how unforgiveness adversely affect our system. So if one needs a healthy body better forgive and dont let the devil has grip on you.Why suffer humiliation

Yes. That's how most people learn to forgive, being taught by a wiser person or a wiser source they can read.

They can be taught to forgive, but do they forget? That's the hard part.

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER.There is only ONE WAY to teach forgiveness. The person must endure there worst nightmare, unimaginable suffering, fear, depression. Only a 'near death' experience i.e. experiencing hell on earth will humble a person enough to change at the core.
Drug addiction, homelessness, loss of limbs, public disgrace, cancer... desperation and fear thru these things open ones soul, and ones will to change.
This is why many drug addicts/alcoholics spend years in and out the doors of AA but dont 'get it' until they lose their family, home, employability, health.....

surely they can be .The difficulty comes in realizing we can't be forgiven unless we can forgive.Sometimes some may never learn and it surely makes an ugly person of them.
