Hoover... (the american brand)
my mother has a hoover she got in 1955 and its still working.. believe it or not.. there was a part got shot once in the motor, she had it repaired once, and its still going strong... amazing... so I myself went out and bought me a hoover.. Ive had mine 5 years and no problems.. I hope mine will live as long as my mothers...

kirby, expensive but terrific. easy to push is what i looked for as the shoulder can wear down, cleans great also. now if i would learn how to shampoo the rug i would have it made.
