I have the implanon implant in place but because i have been having trouble with bleeding they have also put me on another pill called mercilon which the nurse told me to take for 3 months without a break as this would then probably regulate me abit.Just over the last couple of days i have been feeling quite low, really snappy and i mean very bad too,i am even shouting at the kids which is way out of order,i feel stressed and very on edge,i am not usually like this, what is up with me?could this be result of the contraception i am currently taking.Any advice much appreciated. My partner thinks all these different chemicals from the contraceptions could be a bad thing.I am usually calm and happy.I have been taking this pill daily since last wednesday. It as stopped the bleeding which is good but on the otherhand could it be making me how i am.Without this pill with just the implanon my partner as said i have been bit more moody since having this.I had it inserted in october.

i find it weird that the nurse has given you a contraceptive pill on top of the contraceptive implant... i think there are too many chemicals floating around!!
i've got the implant too and i've got a bit of irregular bleeding but it's usually short-lived. but i've been told people react very differently to it. was it really bad?
i'd go and see the GP.

First, get a good "B" supplement. I recommend a tablespoon of nutritional yeast in a glass of V-8. Definitely cease taking foreign matter into your system. re contraception. You can't get pregnant unless you plant the seed when the "ground" is wet. That basic fact was shared with a group of functionally illiterate natives, and that knowledge enabled them to plan pregnancies better than the "medical" intervention of "modern" medicine!

i think hubby is a wise man, all those chemicals can't be doing you any good. Go back and vist your gp a.s.ap before you snap! He will try you on something different and don't worry it'll all be fine

yes it probably is the contraception as not only is it preventing you from having children but its pumping more hormones into your body
