What does too fair and coloured mean?
I've read that northern Indians can be considered caucassion because Alexander the Great and his army conquered that area and left some decendants.

Its not necessary that all North Indian girls are fair. I m a north Indian too but I m not fair. Mostly the complexion is genetic and another reason can be the weather too.

the closer u are to temprate weather the fairer the skin. northen india is very close to the himalayas and a bit farther from the equator. as a result the skin of north indian ppl have less melanin(pigment which gives skin its colour) making their skin light. they say north india has aryan blood in them but i think over a period of 1000s of yrs the impanct has became marginal. u wil b interssted to kno that the caucasian ppl and ppl in india hav similar genes, facial structure etc. only the colour differs due to the climate difference
