3 Facts:
1 - She was in CBB to raise her profile in the UK & (eventually) USA
2 - She WAS bullied by the 3 girls, and it WAS RACIST
3 - Forgiveness will give her maximum GOOD PUBLICITY and make her come out of this looking good.

But she, and her PR people, have missed the whole point - Asians are the victims of racist abuse by a small (but significant) minority of Britains. They are out there, and their views are not going away. By glossing over this fact, and especially by forgiving Jade she is undermining British Asians and condoning the behaivour of the racists. This is unacceptable. Those who supported her have really been let down, and SOLD OUT. She is thinking of her career only. She will be able to go back to her A list lifestyle, brushing these issues under the carpet is like saying they don't exist when they do. Saying that Jade is not a racist and saying it was a simple mistake is such a disloyalty, now all racists can claim it was a mistake like Jade.SHAME ON U SHILPA

The issues that you have mentioned do exist but i think Shilpa did a good thing by forgiving. It makes people who have done wrong look into themselves and feel ashamed.
Ofcourse if those people do not have any moral conscience then even if shilpa became a spokesperson against racism they wouldnt listen.
Cut the girl some slack and let her enjoy her 15 minutes of fame in the uk.

and your question is...?
Racist behaviour exists the world over - in Saudi, women are not allowed out without covering up (because the sad men cannot control themselves?) so that is racist. Here, a clash of cultures is inevitable until people are more prepared to "give" a little, instead of "taking" all the time

I think you are being a tad over sensitive. I disagree with you. I don't think the bickering was necessarily racist. Stupid yes but not racist. Surely Shilpa is entitled to her own opinion and should not be required to follow your rather histrionic viewpoint.
