Captain Kangaroo was a TV childrens show which ran from 1955 to 1984 or so. Mr Greenjeans was Captain's main sidekick and Mr Moose was a puppet character.
My mother made me watch this show in the mid to late 1960's, and it was truly a dire piece of crap. I hated it.
