YOU BECOME MORE BITTER BECAUSE YOU HAVE BEEN HURT MORE! Have you had many failed relationships? Have a lot of people left your life for no reason? That is why I think people start to become more bitter. I noticed it first with my mum... when I was really young she was positive and happy and I am now 19 and she is bitter and thinks the world is against her. A lot has built up against her, I know, but still people should do their best to find things to be happy about and not become bitter.

you areust surprised that this is ho life is and only cynical cos you think everything is a facade that will crumble the next moment. but don't get cynical and all bitter because of the hurts and disappointments but derive strength and learn useful lessons that will prepare you for the even more difficult times ahead, if you are to live the full 70 years promised everyone in the Bible.
Its all part of growing up!
trust me i have been there.

People tends to become bitter and or cynical when they experience a lot of frustations, failures, rejections, disappointments, broken heart, maltreatment, cheated many times and so on and so forth.
If you will notice of the above mentioned causes mental anguish and emotional pain or trauma that lingers for a very long period of time. And it affects the way you look at things and the way you relate with other people.
You become distrustful, suspicious, hopeless, impatient, and negative about many things.
Seek the help of a Professional Psychologist.
Or much better, pray to God to release you from the bondage of cyniscism and bitterness. But first, ask forgiveness for all the sins you have done, and ask Jesus to come in to your life. Surely, as God promised in the bible, he will help you. Jesus is the great physician, he can heal emotional, physical, psychological illnesses.
Trust me. God is alive. He will work in your life just as he has done in my life and in the lives of many people.
If you accept Jesus as your Lord and savior of your life, he will give you eternal life, and at the same time he will give you peace in your heart.
Start praying now and read the bible.
God bless you.

You are discovering what the man behind the curtain is doing. As you age, you will understand that he solved all their problems regardless of the way he presented himself. It is true, that youth is wasted on the young. Sounds like you are facing reality and you need to know that bitterness is transitory. You will change, I guarantee it!!Every day we spend here, we adapt. @8-)

well life sucks, but you have to think of the positive things. focus on situations where you have the control, and not someone else. and think of the bad things, like death, that certainly you oughtnt to feel bad about because its natural, and it happens. appreciate what you do have instead of repenting the lose of that which you havent.

I get control over this by practicing my Catholic faith. I trust that although thing may not look rosy, God is in control , and He has His reasons for allowing things to happen the way they do. I accept that.
