Are you breast feeding? Maybe what you are eating is having an effect on the stools? If bottle feeding, then maybe the concentrations have altered a little?
As long as it does not smell toooo bad or baby has no stomach ache, I think baby should be fine, but if you are at all concerned, talk to your health visitor or doctor - explain your worries, and they will reassure you. It is a mum's place to worry, so get used to it!

A newborn has so many stool styles. You know your baby better than anyone. You will know what is not right for your baby. The only times to worry is when the baby is not going, going too much, or the stools are too loose, or too hard. It is normal for a 2 1/2 month old to have a variety of stools. If you still don't feel right about it, call your doctor. Always go with your gut.

No such thing as "normal" - each child is different. Only worry if they're black like tar (signals bleeding somewhere internally), white like mayonnaise (signs of liver problems) or bloody (could just be a rectal tear, but always worth checking out.).

"Normal" stools can be anywhere from mustard yellow (and that texture) to chocolate brown and the texture of pudding. If you're getting watery stools - more than 2 diapers an hour, then he needs to see the doctor to make sure he's not dehydrated.

Very normal! Depends on what they are eating and drinking. Just keep a look out for really hard poop...that means the child in not getting enough fiber and/or fluids.

It depends wether or not your breastfeeding or formula. Unless it has blood or puss in it or its is consistently runny i wouldnt worry too much. A green stool is a sign of starvation though so if it is quite green in color and you are sure its nothing you have eaten (if you are breastfeeding) have it checked out.

Babies and young children are like that. They have a big vairety of color. Like if they eat a color of food, it will most likely come out the same color. Or drink grape kool-aid, it comes out purple. Usually green is what you look for. But with young babies like yours, its hard to tell. If you have him/her eating peas or green beans yet, it will come out green. But as they get older, green usually means infection. So watch for that later. Hope this helps alittle. If he/she is not eating baby foods yet and has green, call the doctor and see what he says.

as long as the baby's pooping I think it's fine haha, rather out than in right? but it shouldn't be like watery or anything or hard if it is then you should contact a doctor. if your breast feedin git should only be a yellowish color and seedsy. that;s what my doctor told me.
