It is located on the upper right end of the transaxle assembly or the man. transaxle. It has two twisted wires leading to it, a purple and a green, I think. There is one small bolt and a clip that keeps it installed. You will have to lift the car to get at it as there is too much motor in the way to get at it from the top. Good luck.

On a '93 Grand Am, the VSS should be on the transmission, near the firewall, just to the right of the center of the car.

It's located on the transmission extension housing toward the right side. It has a 2 wire connector.

Never heard of it. Possibly in the transmission? That's where the speedometer cable feeds from in most cars.

If the speedometer is digital, there will be a sensor on one, or sometimes both, front tires.
