AFTER marriage your wife will have DUAL nationality, both her own, as also yours, if you are british she will also be british!

If YOU are a british NATIONAL, Yes! NO problem.

The british civil service have to contest EVERY case, they not only have to watch their own backs, they equaly have to pass the tax-payers hard earned "time" somehow, in order to justify their own fat-cat salaries & expences.

If YOU are only a british CITIZEN, or other nationality, seek advice from YOUR own foreign office / high commission.

Remember some foreign office / commission are amalgamated with others, e.g. Australia / Kiwi.

In some cases you must be married befor entry!

According to ;

Human Rights Act
Geneva 10/12/1948
Article(s) 6 & 9,

Yes!!! NO problem!

bon chance!

No, she does not have automatic right of entry to the UK to stay for an unlimited time.

As I understand it the only Nigerians allowed in to the UK to stay for longer than 2 years are between 18 and 30 something and only if they are going to college/university - however most of them sign up and then don't attend. If your girlfriend has a 2 year visa then clearly she can visit. However I think you are asking if she can live here permanantly - clearly the answer is no if she only has a 2 year visa.

Do you not want to live in Lagos? Can you afford to support her if she comes here?

I wasn't going to put this, but unfortunately I have seen a whole community destroyed by criminal gangs from Nigeria - they have purchased flats with fake ids, we are number one in Europe for cloned cards in our area of London - in fact in some streets in my area every single house has been a victim of card cloning, the place has become trashed and vandalised. I won't go into the knock on effect of the Criminal groups in the Nigerian community as it is no secret to the good Nigerians - but it is about time it was all stopped and I think as a result of their behaviour you will find yourself looked at very suspiciously.

Make sure she goes back to nigeria when her visa runs out, there a too many illegals in this country, my job is to hunt them down and send them back, they are costing the UK tax payer millions, and vastly increasing the crime rate.
